I am here to help
uncover the leader
in you that lives
beyond your fears.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

- Anais Nin

Every turning point in my career came from a moment when I overcame my fearful thoughts and let myself play big.

It was when I finally stopped saying:

All this success was just luck and good timing.

They’ll see right through you.

You don’t have the experience.

What if you try and then fail?

What if you’re a disappointment?

Who are you to be bold, wise, powerful, and impactful?

It’s better to play small.

It’s better to stay safe.

And I instead started saying:

HEY- you’ve got this!

You ARE meant for more.

And you’re the only one who’s keeping you from living your true potential.

My Path to Coaching

It was the moment when I was a young engineer, trying to shift gears into project management. I was starting to manage projects, but with no authority and no title.

Who was I to manage teams? But something in me said, “They are expecting you to lead them. They want you to lead them.” Like turning on a light switch, I stepped into my power and started my 16+ year career in program management.

It was the moment I was asked to be a people manager. I had managed projects, but not people. I was terrified of missing something important, or doing something wrong.

Who was I to manage people? But something in me said, “If they can do it, I can too!” And after years of denying the role, it became the best part of my job.

It was the moment my leadership team was recruiting a Chief of Staff. This would bring together my desire for more strategic work, to make a greater impact, and my project management skills. They practically handed me the role...and still I doubted myself.

Who was I to lead LEADERS? But something in me said, “If they think you can do it, maybe you should trust them.” I dove right in, chartered a path as I went along, and became the first Chief of Staff for my department.

It was the moment I felt I had plateaued in project management and wanted something more. I was presented an opportunity to become a coach.  I felt like an imposter - questioning what they saw in me and my life experience.

Who was I to coach? But something in me said, “You know you want this. You know you’re meant for more. It’s time to play BIG.” I started coaching, and finally felt I had answered my calling. By allowing myself, moment by moment, to live out my potential, I could finally recognize the thing I wanted to do most in the world when it crossed my path. I could finally embrace the opportunity that would use the gifts I wanted to use most.

It was the moment I left the corporate world to focus fully on being a coach and being a mom. I confronted all my values, expertise, and experience.

Who was I to be an entrepreneur? But something in me said, “This is your time. If not now, when?” Now I do the work I love every day, feeling the satisfaction of living my true potential - the potential I wanted to fulfill. And now, my purpose is to help other women do the same.

My Coaching Work

My coaching journey officially started through a year-long certification training at New Ventures West.  I learned a methodology based on research, theory, and practice, which gave me the tools and models to fully understand the complexity of my clients’ lives. Every year, I grow my coaching knowledge through continuing professional development, acquiring new frameworks, tools, and models from which I offer my clients new ways to see themselves and their potential.

Now that I have my full focus on coaching, I end my day with the peace of mind that what I am doing in the world is the greatest thing I could do with my skills, experience, and the wisdom I’ve collected through all of the turning points in my career.  I know now that my journey was meant to be, so I could take my experience to create my signature coaching methodology. I love seeing my clients face their fears, seize their moment now, and step into their true leadership potential.

My intention is that in creating a safe space for you to feel seen and heard, you may finally see and hear your own gifts, your own power, and your own leadership potential that is there waiting, just beyond your fears.

Just beyond yourself. It’s where you need to be.”

 My life beyond coaching…

I was born and raised in the California Bay Area. As a daughter of immigrant parents, I’ve had to navigate what defining my own values looks like at the intersection of two cultures. I know what it’s like to have embedded expectations of what you “should” be doing in your career, and being warned of not rocking the boat. Through pursuing a variety of interests, like my own personal development, pottery, tennis, and running, I started to feel into what lights me up the most. The good news is, once you get practice in going after what you want, it becomes easier to recognize! I found my partner for life and we pursued our dream of growing our own family, surrounded by the warmth of our loved ones and the Southern California sunshine. I love being my son’s mom and witnessing human development through the growth of my little one. He’s the best boss I’ve ever had!

Experience in corporate life

With 18+ years in the corporate world, I know how easy it is to stay comfortable and how difficult it is to take a bold risk and advocate for what you want. I also know how much opportunity there is for those willing to go get it!
